The Winter Snowstice
The "Winter Snowstice" what's that? Its when its so cold and wet on the shortest day of the year that photographing the Sunrise or Sunset was impossible! My fingers were cold but on the way to work at 7:40am I managed to take this photo of a light settling of snow on our front yard, which occurred overnight in Wellington.
If the weather had been good I don't think I would have made it home in time to the same location that I took the Equinox sunset photo from.
